We relieve your pain
There are various reasons to see a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist.
We treat patients of all ages and backgrounds; from professional athletes with sports-related injuries to elders who’ve been injured in a fall. In all cases, our mission is to provide expert, cost effective care that results in full recovery and fulfillment of all treatment goals.
Physical Therapy (Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Geriatric Physical Therapy, Neurological Physical Therapy)
MORC offers evaluation and treatment of injuries related to the musculoskeletal system of the body. This includes the neck/back, shoulders, elbows, wrist/hands, hips, knees, ankle/foot, as well as any other problems related to the muscles or bones.
The goal is to restore maximum function and pain-free range of motion to moving body parts (for example, knees, elbows, neck, lower back) following surgery or traumatic injury. It's also to help people with chronic musculoskeletal or neurological disabilities (such as cerebral palsy, ALS, post-stroke recovery, etc.) achieve a greater range of motion and live more active lives.
Sports Participation Screenings
We provide orthopedic screenings to assess your body’s readiness for athletic activity. Our physical therapists will assess your postural alignment, structural integrity, muscular strength, and make recommendations for exercises that can help prevent injuries in your specific sport.
Mercy Outpatient Rehab Clinic evaluates athletes of all ages. From children, young adolescence, to professional athletes, we want you to be healthy in your sport. We offer after school screening and early S Saturday morning appointments to accommodate you.
Performance Enhancement
We are dedicated to improving your performance in what ever activities are important to you. Our physical therapists can design programs to achieve goals ranging from walking to the mailbox to competing in professional athletics.
Hand Rehabilitation
Specialized therapeutic intervention regarding the forearm, wrist and hand. This service also entails customized splinting fabrication as well as ergonomic intervention.
Pain Management
No one deserves to cope or live with pain. Mercy Outpatient Rehab offers many treatments that do not require needles, medication, nor surgery! Our medical team carefully evaluates each patient with regard to degree of pain, physical condition and their personal health goals to help us to select your best course of treatment.
We use a comprehensive approach in treating our patients. We utilize physical therapeutics and rehabilitation, individualized hands on treatments with manual therapy, therapeutic and corrective exercises, ergonomic corrections, electrodiagnosis, and new technology that helps relieve your pain.
Over the years, we have helped many patients in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties find relief from acute and chronic pain—including patients with highly challenging conditions.
Speech Therapy
Stroke, seizures, and other neurological problems are common reasons for losing speech. We'll work with you to regain your motor skills.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists help return patients back to purposeful activity after physical injuries by helping the patient acquire or rebuild skills that have been lost or damaged. To understand this better, think of ”occupation” as “any purposeful activity.” This definition allows for us to treat injuries that are related to work, leisure and the basic activities of daily living.
Women's Health/Incontinence Therapy
The use of biofeedback to add in the education and self awareness of the pelvic floor. This training assists women who suffer from incontinence due to a variety of reasons. This program is highly successful and performed in a private environment.

Auto Accident & Work Related Injury
Work-injury rehab — In addition to hands-on manual therapy, we offer injured workers customized rehab programs to prepare them for an efficient return to work. These include back and neck safety education, work conditioning, personalized exercise plans, body mechanics assessments, ergonomic assessments and more to help patients get back on the job in a timely manner. This is to also help them maintain their results long after their therapy has ended.
